Taught by skilled journeymen in an apprenticeship starting before high school, Brad learned to expertly craft lettering by brush and screenprint, with requisite layout skills covering tiny signs to giant pictorial highway bulletins. At 21 hired by 3M National Advertising as a Journeyman Signwriter-Pictorialist in the Sign Display & Allied Crafts Union.
A core belief that technology can make signs better & faster led to being the go-to source for regional sign shops. When a client needed unlighted billboards to glow at night, Brad replaced the heavy plywood sheets they were using with a reflective billboard that could ship UPS. When a client wanted a van that glowed the first reflective wrap rolled out the doors.
Getting back to childhood roots of routed and carved signage, Brad added the industry's best CNC router to his fleet. The incredibly accurate Gerber Sabre 408 brings a whole new offering of dimensional and sculpted signage that enhances creativity and value. Experience in fine gold leaf and structural fabrication have aided in making some great signs for clients.
